Professional Bio

Jyoti Prakash Sahoo is a recent Ph.D. graduate in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech). His research advances federated learning, quantum-classical machine learning, and trustworthy AI for edge-IoT security.

An experienced Assistant Professor and Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE), he currently serves at the Dept of Computer Science and Information Technology, Institute of Technical Education and Research, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University)[on Study Leave]. He previously held the position of Assistant Professor at CV Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar (now C. V. Raman Global University).

He is an active member of leading research groups, including the Scalable Adaptive Yet Efficient Distributed (SAYED) Systems Group at Queen Mary University of London, the Intelligent Computing & Networking (ICN) Research Group at East China Normal University, and the Quantum Research Lab at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. With expertise in edge computing and machine learning, he contributes as an editorial and reviewer board member for several journals and conferences.

He has served in key leadership roles such as Publicity Chair, Web Chair, Organizing Secretary, and Technical Program Committee Member for numerous national and international conferences. As a WIPRO Certified Faculty, he has fostered industry-academia collaboration, student enablement, and innovative pedagogical approaches.
